1 packet of taco seasoning

8 ounces spaghetti

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Begin by cooking the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Use a wooden spoon or spatula to break up the meat as it cooks, until it is browned and cooked through.

Add the taco seasoning to the skillet and stir to combine. Then, pour in the can of diced tomatoes with green chilies, tomato sauce, and 1/2 cup of water. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

While the taco sauce simmers, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta and set it aside.

Once the taco sauce has cooked down and thickened slightly, add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the spaghetti mixture, cover the skillet, and let it sit for a few minutes until the cheese has melted.

Remove the skillet from the heat and garnish with chopped cilantro. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve immediately.
